About the Band:
My Bleeding Heart is a Finnish alternative rock band, formed in late 2007. Band was formed after Jakke got frustrated with his band projects and decided to record some demo songs he had been working on. After a while Jakke and Henkka met and Jakke played his recordings to Henkka. They found they had a lot in common and decided to start a band. My Bleeding Heart was born in December 2007, with Junde on the drums .
During the spring 2008, Jakke and Henkka kept on composing new songs and recorded hours of demo material. The guys worked really hard with the songs and in the process, the band evolved into a higher level. Thanks to supreme mutual understanding, My Bleeding Heart became a stunning act in a short period of time. But nothing lasts forever and disagreements started to develop within the band. During the summer 2008, Junde started to feel like an outsider in the band and, as a result, he left in July 2008.
Pono replaced Junde as the drummer right after Junde had left. With Pono on the drums My Bleeding Heart got the boost it had been needing. First gigs were played in September 2008 and the band kept rockin` only to hit the bottom once again. Due to some communication problems and difficulties with schedules, My Bleeding Heart had crashed into arguments again. As a result, Pono left the band in November 2008.
In December 2008 Jani replaced Pono as the drummer and My Bleeding Heart got back on track. And as the year 2008 was reaching its end, My Bleeding Heart was once again stronger than ever. The train kept on rollin' all winter as My Bleeding Heart was focusing on practicing the songs with Jani on the drums. And it paid off well. The guys got so much done within a few months as they arranged some of the songs again from the scratches and recorded their first EP called "You're Wrong".
Right after My Bleeding Heart got everything recorded for "You're Wrong", the guys met André who soon became a member of the band. This talented guy fixed those minor things that had been bothering the band for a while and completed My Bleeding Heart. And because of the fact that the release of "You're Wrong" was already late, My Bleeding Heart returned to the studio to record one more song with André during the spring 2009. Once again the band had a lot of work to do 'cause all the songs had to be rearranged for two guitars and vocals. And it paid off well as My Bleeding Heart returned to the stages with new setup. And the work continues. And so will the story of My Bleeding Heart!
